Sears has been a favorite store for many years…I remember as a child, my grandparents received this thick catalog from Sears every once in a while. My grandmother called the catalog the “Wish Book” because we could make a wish list of everything we wanted from the book!
All of my hopes and dreams for when I “grew up” came from that Sears “Wish Book”. The type of bassinet I bought for my first child was selected from that book. The types of curtains I wanted, the clothes I wanted to wear, even the furniture and electronics I wanted to have.
