It’s Weigh In Day! Let’s See How We Did!

I love weigh in day! Well, as long as both weight and measurements are taken into account. Even with the days I missed last week due to oral surgery and the subsequent recovery, let’s see how I did this week! Don’t forget to share your results!

One week tae bo challenge results

Last week, I only ended up doing 2 days of Tae Bo. 🙁 I’m not very happy about that, but because of my mid-week dental work, and the time it took me to recover, I really didn’t have much of a choice. I hate when life gets in the way of your weight loss plans, don’t you?

Even though the dental work got in my way last week, I’m determined that this coming week will be different. I WILL get my tae bo workout in every day, regardless of how busy of a week I have coming up. That is my goal. As frustrating as this makes me feel, I realize that life often gets in the way of our best laid plans. But I think that if I go into the week with high expectations, then even if I miss a day or two, I’ll still be doing great, and be more likely to stay on track!

Weight Loss Results

I lost 2.2 lbs this week!! I’m psyched about that!! Especially since I only got 2 days of Tae Bo completed! Essentially, I believe that those 2.2 lbs vanished due to healthier food choices. Staying away from processed foods and eating a pure liquid diet helps apparently…LOL I was only able to eat things like applesauce, pudding, mashed potatoes…you get the picture. Anything that I didn’t have to chew!

Body Measurement Results

I’m actually pretty impressed with my first week results, especially since, as I mentioned before, I ONLY did 2 days of Tae Bo; the rest of the week I was simply on a liquid diet. I lost a total of 2-1/2″!!! Yes, two and a half inches! The breakdown? I lost one inch off my waist (and who doesn’t LOVE that?!), and inch off my hips and half an inch off my upper arm.

Today, I’ll be starting with the workout I had planned for Day 3; you can read more about it in my Day 2 check in post.
