Were you looking for…?

I’m now on Day 9 of my 30 day challenge. I’m not sure if my body is undergoing any changes, but I can tell you that I feel great! I have noticed so many benefits from doing this workout that I can’t imagine NOT doing it. I first noticed these benefits on our day of rest, which was Tuesday. I was unproductive, tired, and generally unmotivated all day. Kristina was feeling the same way. We were texting each other throughout the day, and both of us had an off day. I have noticed the following benefits since starting this routine:

  1. Motivation – I have had such high levels of motivation every day, that I’m getting a LOT done. Much more than I would on a regular day of NOT exercising. Laundry, schoolwork for the kids, work, I’m just motivated to get everything done.
  2. Energy – I have a LOT of energy!! It’s almost like I can feel my blood pumping through my veins…that’s the closest I can come to actually describing this feeling. But I just have so much energy, and that tends to lend itself to getting more done around the house (including school and work).
  3. Concentration – I can really focus more on the tasks at hand, which again, lends itself to getting more done and being more productive. I don’t get as easily distracted, and I’m much more efficient at multi-tasking.
  4. Productivity – Obviously, with all of the above benefits, my productivity levels are almost doubled. I think that brick and mortar companies would do well to implement some type of exercise routine as company protocol. Did you know that in Japan, companies do, in fact, do that? That’s why they are so productive!!
  5. Overall feeling – This is perhaps the best benefit of regular exercise of all…I just feel GREAT. As a natural “consequence” to exercising more, I’m drinking more water which helps my skin look better and makes me feel better. Honestly, even if you don’t necessarily feel BAD, once you begin exercising every morning, you will notice a marked change. I didn’t even notice I felt bad, but WOW I FEEL GREAT!!!

I have decided that even if I never lose another pound, or if I continue to gain weight, I’m still going to workout. There are just too many great benefits, and I feel too good. I have been in a continuous good mood ever since I started this routine!

What are your experiences with exercise? Have you noticed a difference in how you feel, or how productive you are? Let me know in the comments below!
